A little Bit About Us….
We have been involved with purebred Beagles since 1991, and have been actively breeding since 1994.
We are members in good standing of the Canadian Kennel Club, the Beagle Club of BC, the BCSPCA, and the Pacific Animal Therapy Society (PATS).
Trisha is currently president of the Beagle Club of BC which will soon evolve to include Alberta and Saskatchewan and will then be renamed the Beagle Club of Western Canada. We have both served on the executive of the Beagle Club numerous times in various capacities and have been actively involved in breed rescue.
For many years Trisha was a full trainer at the Greater Victoria Dog Obedience Club, and also served on the executive several times. She is currently teaching puppy classes at a local vet office.
In addition to breeding, raising and showing our Beagles, we feel we should showcase how versatile our little hounds can be. Many of our brood matrons have been certified by The Pacific Animal Therapy Society (PATS) and do pet therapy visits, displays at malls and walk in various parades with the group. Over the years we have also been very involved with Junior Handling. Our dogs have been used many times by handlers at all levels of competition from PeeWees to the extremely competitive Regional Finals.
OSheehan’s Beagles have successfully competed in Obedience, Rally, and Agility placing in the very top levels of National competition. We have also been seen on both National and local TV with our dogs.
Trisha graduated from the Foothills Hospital School of Nursing in 1977 as a registered nurse. She has worked continuously since then in tertiary care centers, and the last 29 years exclusively in maternity. Flynn is a journeyman mechanic who graduated from SAIT in 1979.
